Chapter 2

Teachers will learn about the exciting and creative collaborative project, and participating local schools. The project is based on a ‘whodunit’ theme and led by Bill Lord, the inspiring and engaging literacy consultant with a reputation for bringing fun and purpose to literacy activities, with impressive results.

Course will include:

• Practical examples of strategies and activities to support literacy including; role play, formal and informal writing, blogging by teachers and pupils.
• An opportunity to join the collaborative online project
• Guidance on how to address key areas of literacy to aid progress and engagement
